Winter Holiday: School Holidays announced in this state, Know Details

Good news about school students indeed. Nowadays, it’s really difficult for kids to wake up before dawn in winter. Hence as the winter advances, the education department announces holidays in schools. And now a similar announcement has been made in the national capital Delhi. Now holidays have been declared for all government and recognized schools here.

How long will schools remain closed?

After the announcements of the holidays by the education department in the capital, Delhi, it has also elaborated on the time after which the schools will remain closed here. The notice of the department stated that the schools will now directly close until January 15.

Classes will also be conducted amid winter break

Actually, the education department has instructed the teachers to teach every day certain subjects, namely English, Science, and Maths, to the students of classes 9th to 11th during the winter break. There have been other similar instructions pertaining to revising, solving, and practicing with pre-board question papers for the 10th and 12th students.

States that have declared holidays so far

Till now, winter holidays have been announced in states of India like Madhya Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand. In all these states, holidays extend from Christmas to New Year. Winter vacations have not yet been announced in Haryana, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
