Actually, school holidays have been announced in Haryana adjacent to Delhi. As such, children will have to go to school till 31 December under this announcement.
When will the holidays be in schools?
The Haryana education department announced the dates for school holidays in the state. According to an official communication, the winter holidays will fall from 1st January to 15th January and remain open till December 31.

Although, the cause for declaring holidays from school is preventing the cold wave from affecting the vaunted ‘Adverse-phase’ state of the coming days ending in the month. Adverse effect on children’s health is seen at this time. So, holidays for children are declared. The Education Minister made the announcement
Holidays have been announced in the schools of the state by Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda. He said that during this time, students would be relieved of the cold and also protected from any ill effects of cold on their health. He informed that an official notice will also be issued by the Education Department very soon.
